Kachingz
Guide

Budgeting without handing over your bank login

Plenty of people would rather not link their bank to a budgeting app. Kachingz is built for them: it never asks for bank details, and your records stay on your iPhone.

How it knows what you spent

  • Apple Pay purchases log themselves through an Apple Wallet automation. Here's how it works.
  • Everything else takes seconds by hand: tap Add, enter the amount and the shop.

What stays where

  • Your purchases, budgets, bills and goals are stored on your iPhone.
  • There's no account to create, and no ads or tracking.
  • If you use the optional AI reports, the relevant figures are sent to our service to write the report. The server keeps no copy of the request, only a short anonymous log. The Privacy Policy has the details.

The honest trade-off

Without a bank connection, Kachingz knows what you record, not what your bank sees. Your balance is the one you track, and cash spending needs adding by hand. In return, nothing about your bank account ever leaves it.

What you get

A clear Available to spend after bills and savings, category budgets with a pace marker, bills and subscriptions in one list, a spending calendar, and a cat in a cosy room who keeps count with you.
